Business tax covers all areas of corporate income tax, staff payroll, employers allowance and pensions, construction industry scheme (CIS), research and development relief, capital gains, stamp duties and SEIS, EIS and VAT tax relief and other forms of creative tax relief schemes.
We are experts in these business taxes and we know how different industries and schemes affect how to manoeuvre through the compliance landscape in order to get the most efficient tax savings as possible.

Our services cover payroll, business tax return compliance, company accounts, tax efficient director remuneration strategies, employee benefits and incentives, CIS bookkeeping and reclaims, bonus and option schemes, reinvestment schemes like VCTSEIS and EIS, probate and inheritance tax planning, R&D claims, group accounting and taxation, residence and domicile consultancy.

Digital First

We operate our practice as a digital first operation and then apply our accounting services to that objective. We also align our clients in the same way to focus on the current requirement driven by HMRC but also by a commercial necessity in order to stay competitive.

All of our systems are online and accessible in the cloud but with suitable data security policies in place. We give back control to our clients so that you can see our work in real time and also are able to make cost decisions based on the amount of work involved and the data to hand which guides those decision.

We link up Xero with Power BI as an example.

Our own systems are digital where all documents are scanned to file. We automate our systems so that you are automatically reminded of what you need to file and when.

R&D and Creative Tax relief

We have been getting tax relief for our clients since we opened our practice. We believe in using these tax schemes as a competitive advantage in your business. Or at least, to maintain your competitiveness with others who do use these schemes.

Since most of our clients are looking towards digital technology we have many examples where innovative ideas are pushing the scientific boundaries for how technology is used in commercial settings.

We have a lot of medical technology companies from outside the UK looking to headquarter in the UK and we work with the DTI in helping to get them grants here.

SEIS, EIS and VCT

We are SEIS, EIS and VCT income tax relief tax specialists and you will find a lot of articles on our website about these schemes so we will not go into the specifics too much here. You will also see our thoughts on using these investment schemes for IHT planning as a form of trust.

Since the creation of this scheme in 2013-14 we have directed much of our focus on obtaining this generous income tax relief for our clients. We have recovered over £3m in income tax for investors and been there to help companies incorporate, register for taxes, setup bookkeeping, get legal templates like employment contracts, website t+cs, privacy and GDPR policies.

Our experienced team will be more than happy to assist you with any queries you may have. Get in touch with us via the contact form or call 020 3728 2848.
