Gary Green – Principal
Gary trained in a top 50 accountancy practice in the City when he formed Key Business Consultants in 2012 as an SEIS tax specialist firm.
Serving hundreds of clients since inception, we have vast experience as external accountants who can compliance check your business, give efficient tax planning and represent you well with the authorities. We have experience as internal management accountants and financial controllers so we know what it takes to adapt to any system and make it deliver results and income.
Gary’s passion is looking at the future trends and advising clients how to be agile to stay at the front of the market.
We are adding business system automation services to synchronise websites to applications and to bookkeeping systems like Xero. We are also offering website marketing audits and roadmaps from our marketing experts to integrate to the digital world.
As well as adding ten staff in the first four years of trading, Gary also started raising three children.
Victoria Barrett – Accounts and Tax Manager
Victoria qualified as a chartered accountant in 2009 in a Top20 accountancy practice in the City and then worked in industry as a finance manager for a few years. Victoria then took some time out to be a mum until returning to practice with Key Business Consultants in 2015 to manage the corporate accounts and taxation department.
Kim Tran – Payroll and Accounts Supervisor
Kim is an ACCA finalist aiming to qualify as a chartered certified accountant in 2018. Since joining Key Business Consultants in 2014 Kim has taken over management of the payroll department and is our Xero champion.
Kim is training for certification for SEIS and EIS compliance delivering advanced assurance, compliance statements and claim forms.
Ruth Green – Office Manager
Ruth has been with Key Business Consultants from the start, helping set up the office and supporting the staff across the service areas.
Now that we are growing Ruth has stepped back into a traditional administration role responsible for the office, invoicing and credit control as well as raising three children.
Melissa Close – Accounts Senior
Melissa is an AAT qualified accounts technician aiming to qualify as a chartered accountant and has over 7 years experience in bookkeeping, management accounts, payroll and VAT returns. Melissa provides bookkeeping, management accounts, credit control and VAT return services for our clients.
Snehal Shah – Accounts and Practice Semi-Senior
Snehal joined Key Business Consultants in August 2017 after graduating from Brunel University London studying finance and accounting. Since joining she has taken over managing the practice database working closely with Gary to manage the workflow and staff by developing our business intelligence software.
She has experience from bookkeeping through to year end accounts and tax returns. Snehal aims to complete a one year ACCA course in 2018 due to her exemptions from her degree.
Jasleen Kaur – Accounts and Personal Tax Semi-Senior
Jasleen graduated from Brunel University in 2017 and started with us in May 2017. Since joining Key Business Consultants, she has quickly adapted to the accountancy role and become certified Xero adviser. She provides management accounts, year end accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT services to our clients. Jasleen will start her ICAEW ACA training in 2018 and is specialising in payroll and personal tax issues.
Vasilis Thoniatis – Accounts Semi-Senior
Vasilis graduated from School of Business and Economics – Department of Accountancy and Finance – Eastern of Macedonia and Thrace in Greece in 2007 and he has been working as an accountant for some years. Since joining Key Business Consultants in August 2017, he has become certified Xero adviser and provides year end, management accounting and VAT returns services to our clients.
He is now focusing on his ACCA professional studies which he will be starting in 2018 and will support the SEIS and EIS department.
Salina Parvin – Accounts Semi-Senior
Salina has worked as Credit Control in Bangladesh for over six years before moving over to UK in 2009. Salina recently joined Key Business Consultants as an Accounts Semi Senior in September 2017 as a part qualified AAT trainee. She has experience processing VAT returns and bookkeeping for our clients.
Andeep Bal – Accounts Trainee
Andeep joined Key Business Consultants in November 2017 moving across from working with his family business as a finance and operations manager. He finished a Business and Management (Accounting) degree from Brunel University with first class honours in 2017. He aims to start his chartered accounting exams in 2018 and progress into our corporate accounting and taxation department.
Hiwet Endrias – Accounts Trainee (Intern)
Hiwet is currently on a one year placement from Brunel University where she is studying a degree in International Business. She aims to work in accountancy and study for her ACCA qualification in the future. Hiwet joined Key Business Consultancy in September 2017 and has become a Xero Certified Advisor as well as providing bookkeeping services for our clients.
Arron Goldberg – Accounts Trainee (back at University until Summer 2018)
Arron had a one year’s work placement from his Nottingham Trent University degree in Accounting and Finance until July 2017. He has since gone back for his final year and is being sponsored by the practice. Since joining us he has become a Certified Xero Advisor and provides bookkeeping services for our clients. Arron aims to qualify as a chartered accountant once graduating and starting his ICAEW ACA exams in 2019.
